The little child says to their parent “why, how, what, and when”? Oh those questions are so exciting to a parent. The budding mind just wants to know the answers and the life of learning begins. This process continues throughout life with each new bit of data that we encounter.
When God encounters us, we have the desire to know more about what God is like, what has been said about his life, and how others have responded to their encounter with him. This investigation is a process of discovery as we look into the record of God documented in the Bible. The Bible is the book that is used to begin this growth process. As a learner we do not want to rely on other’s opinions, and experiences, but we want to go to the source of information to answer the questions of “why, how, what, when and who”?
The Grow Team is composed of an elected leader, Mrs. Judy McMeekin who serves on the vestry, a staff member, Mrs. Stephanie Wallace, director of Faith Formation and many parish representatives. This team provides opportunities to learn more about the Lordship of Jesus and the power of the Word of God.
