Safeguarding God’s Children
Welcome to an on-line program offered by the Diocese of South Carolina which teaches our volunteers and staff how to keep children in our care safe from abuse. The Diocese mandates this training for personnel who work with children and youth, however, Resurrection is requiring all clergy, staff, vestry and any volunteers who work with children or youth to complete this training. AWANA Club Sundays 5 PM
AWANA (Approved workmen are not ashamed, 2 Timothy 2:1:15) AWANA Club meets Sundays at 5 PM and is a children’s ministry that has been making an impact in churches and communities for over 60 years, with its emphasis on the gospel message, scripture memory, and the attraction of games and awards. Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Mission Trip June 9th-15th
Members of SWAT (Youth Group) and adult leaders will be going to New Jersey in June to work with TEAMeffort to clean up from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. TEAMeffort will arrange all of the job sites, tools and materials that we need to do this work. They will also provide a daily devotional program, nightly worship and teaching. Lodging and most meals will be provided. There will be some free time and activities will be planned.
